Qualification Round 2 (QR2)

Period 1: StellarXplorers Briefing

  • Students briefing with coach.
  • Introduction of today’s key topic and scenario.
  • Q&A session with coach. 

Period 2: System Tool Kit (STK)

  • Hands-on tutorial focusing on the specific STK skills needed for the day's challenge.

Period 3: Scenario Analysis and Brainstorming

  • Break into smaller groups to discuss the challenge constraints and potential strategies.
  • Document initial ideas and approaches.

Period 4: Application and Modeling

  • Students work in smaller groups to build their model or solution in STK.
  • Coach provides guidance.

Period 5: Team Collaboration & Refinement

  • Teams consolidate their work and refine their approach.
  • Present preliminary findings and get feedback.
