Good Afternoon Everyone,
We are excited to announce; we have an official Date for the San Pedro ROV Challenge for 2026! Thank you San Pedro High School for letting us use your pool! The ROV Challenge will be on Saturday, May 30th. Schools can use the MATE or SEAPerch ROV to complete the obstacles and Missions for this year. All teams will be competing against like models.
We made some modifications to the event based on feedback from last year's event. You still have time to enter a team, but please make sure that you let me know by the end of the month. Please see the attached guide as help in planning your ROVs. We will have food, music, and prizes at the event as well! Love to see you there!

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to give you some updates about the 2026 San Pedro ROV Challenge. You should be organizing and starting your builds in the next few weeks. We are looking at finalizing a date after the San Pedro High School Swim schedule has completed for the season. I have a few links below to help schools get started; even if you have just 1 team, it is worth the experience. There are a lot of great skills that are developed as part of this program and you don't want to miss out!

You can use the Sea Perch Model or the Mate Model; however, teams must compete against like models because the Mate has bigger motors.
