Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth process and, most importantly, a positive and encouraging testing environment for our students. Please review the following guidelines to support successful testing:
Before Testing
- Review expectations with students so they feel prepared and confident.
During Testing
- Maintain a calm and supportive environment. Encourage students to take their time and do their best.
- Confirm students are logged in correctly.
- Actively monitor to ensure students remain on task and testing with integrity.
Support & Encouragement
- Use positive language and reassurance.
- If students become frustrated, encourage short breaks as appropriate and refocus them.
- Reinforce that this assessment is a tool for growth, not a grade.
After Testing
- Ensure students properly submit the assessment.
- Report any technical issues or concerns promptly to the Ms. Fox, Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Ferguson, or Ms. Baldonado.
