Good evening, everyone!
We will be hosting our Community Night event tomorrow evening (Friday!), and I wanted to share the important details with those who will be supporting in some capacity, whether through supervision at the 15th Street entrance, the 16th & Leland gate, Drill and Cheer Teams, Band, or by sending students to assist as Student Ambassadors.
- 5:15 p.m. – Meet at the Senior Court area after entering through the main entrance at Leland and 16th Street.
- Signs will be posted in the Sunken Court area indicating where each visiting school should gather with their San Pedro High School Student Ambassadors.
- Dana and Dodson Bands will perform during the wait time.
- 5:45 p.m. – All schools will follow the band in a parade down 15th Street to the service gate entrance of the stadium.
- 6:05 p.m. – San Pedro Student Ambassadors will lead each school to the north side of the track and onto the field.
- 6:10–6:25 p.m. – Schools will be introduced, walk around the track from the home side to the visitor side, and exit through the north entrance.
- 6:25–6:45 p.m. – Each school's Future Leader, along with their parent and principal, will be introduced and recognized. All schools will exit through the north side at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
- 6:50 p.m. – Teams take the field.
I have also included the run of show for the Band Rally portion of the evening.
A few additional notes:
The parade will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m. as we walk down 15th Street.
Mr. @Loughridge, Dwyane will ensure the gates are open for the parade at 15th Street.
Ms. @Nichols, Sheila will assist with opening the baseball gate for the parade entrance onto the track.
Ms. @Carter, Dylen will monitor and support the opening and closing of the gate to the track.
All families and participating schools will enter on the home side of the track, walk across to the visitor side, and then exit.
Participants will stay on the track and will not proceed through the Victory Arch.
Only the principal, Future Leader, and parent of the Future Leader (with wristband) will remain on the track during the awards presentation.
Thank you all for your support in helping make this a successful event for our students, families, and feeder schools!
