School Based Management Governance Council Needs Parents!

We are seeking 3–5 parent/community members to serve. SBM meets monthly for about 60 minutes after school to discuss and shape important school policies that affect all stakeholders.

What does SBM govern?

  • School Calendar such as Minimum, Shorten, Special Schedule Dates

  • Bell Schedules

  • Discipline Policies

  • Banked-Time Agendas for Teachers

  • Instructional Materials & Equipment

Your voice is essential in helping us make decisions that benefit the entire school community.  Please review this self-nomination form for more details about the work we do on SBM.

Election Timeline:

  • 9/8 – Self-nominations close at 2:00 p.m.

  • 9/9 or 9/10 – Paper ballot voting at both campuses (if more candidates than available spots)

  • 9/12 – Ballots counted; all candidates notified by email

  • 9/18 – First SBM meeting at 4:00 p.m. (Flagship campus)

We encourage you to get involved—your participation makes a difference!
