At this time, the District is reviewing curriculum and instructional resources to ensure that the focus remains on the broader contributions of the farmworker movement, rather than on any single individual. It is important that we continue to recognize the collective efforts of the many individuals who have advanced social justice, labor rights, and community empowerment.
