Introduction

The SPHS Counseling offices are located in the A Building at Flagship rooms A226-A232, and in rooms E101/F101 at Olguin. Counselors are available to see students during school hours. Students can drop in without appointments for quick questions before school, or after school. For all other more detailed questions, counselors can be reached via email, phone call, or Schoology.  See the staff page for a directory.

 

Parents/guardians are encouraged to email/call in advance to schedule meetings so that we can set aside time for specific questions and needs. Counselors are assigned to students based on last name and/or the program students are part of so please see the Counselor Caseload Distribution page to see who your child’s counselor is. 

 

For College and Career questions and support, college and career counselor Ms. Rina Young, works with students to provide college and career related resources. She is available to answer your questions about college applications, financial aid (FAFSA/CAADA), scholarships, and career and major exploration.
